Job summary

DSA Inc. seeks a Chief/Cloud Architect to lead the technical architecture for secure AWS IL5 operations, tenant isolation, capacity planning, cloud modernization, and trade-space decisions.

This role serves as the Government’s primary technical counterpart to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-aware solutions aligned to mission growth. The position requires DoD/IC-grade experience, RMF compliance, and strong collaboration with cybersecurity and DevSecOps teams to deliver government-facing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 10+ years in enterprise or cloud architecture with secure systems modernization.
• 5+ years supporting biometric/intelligence/mission systems.
• Experience with DoD cloud security requirements and RMF.
• Hands-on AWS environments for DoD/government missions.
• Knowledge of IAM, segmentation, encryption, logging.
• DoD 8570/8140-aligned certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud architecture strategy for AWS IL5 environments and tenant isolation.
• Design governance of secure tenant boundaries, networks, identity, encryption, logging.
• Support capacity planning, performance, resilience, backup, provisioning, cost optimization.
• Provide modernization trade studies, architecture reviews, and cloud migration planning.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, systems engineering, and mission teams.
• Develop architecture diagrams, decision records, and government-facing recommendations.
