Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Principal Solutions Architect to lead the design, build, and automation of a cutting-edge cloud platform in a DevSecOps environment. You will leverage AWS expertise, IaC, EKS, and secure CI/CD pipelines to enable development teams with a scalable, self-service cloud.

The role emphasizes security, automation, and collaboration across teams, with DoD 8140 certifications required and a focus on least-privilege access and immutable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform or similar.
• Deep experience with Amazon EKS for container orchestration.
• Strong command of AWS IAM roles, policies, and security best practices.
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, Linux/Unix administration, and security principles.
• Proficiency with Git and modern GitOps.
• Must possess and maintain required DoD 8140 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure AWS environments.
• Implement and manage core AWS services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route53, EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, EBS, RDS).
• Architect and operate containerized workloads with Amazon EKS, including cluster management, scaling, and security.
• Implement AWS IAM with least privilege principle.
• Design immutable infrastructure and champion IaC automation with Terraform.
• Develop, manage, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines and integrate security into pipelines.
• Create automation scripts (Python/Go/Bash) leveraging APIs to streamline operations.
