Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly experienced engineer to lead the design and deployment of critical cloud infrastructure. You will work across teams to build low-latency, scalable services and guide architectural decisions for AI-enabled security platforms.

Applicants should have a strong background in Go or Java, 8+ years in large-scale cloud environments, and a talent for clear written and verbal communication. Hybrid role with offices in Redmond and other major cities is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience building and operating high-volume, highly resilient Tier-1 cloud services and systems.
• Strong knowledge of Go, Java, or similar technologies.
• Skill at finding simply elegant solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to move fast and deal with ambiguity while leading collaboration across teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas in writing and verbally.
• Experience driving technical decisions across groups and stakeholders.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts in defining and implementing significant components of our new cloud architecture, collaborating with our most senior technologists
• Deliver low-latency and highly scalable services
• Partner closely with our desktop agent and AI teams
• Drive continuous improvement in hiring, design reviews, post mortems, and growing the technical skills our team needs to excel.
