Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for the Cloud – Analytics Platform in New York, NY.

You will own and build scalable data systems, focusing on a graph database, with Java/Spark/Flink in a Kubernetes/AWS environment. The role supports hybrid in-office work 1–3 days per week in NYC. You will collaborate across teams to deliver high-scale data processing, time-series queries, and analytics to detect threats, with emphasis on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in a technical field.
• 10+ years combined backend/cloud and data platform experience.
• 5+ years building data platforms or features with Spark, Flink or related at-scale DBs.
• 5+ years programming in Java/Scala/Kotlin (Python acceptable as alternative).
• Deep knowledge of performance tuning for JVM and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Write fault-tolerant Java code within Spark, Flink, and OLAP/Time Series databases.
• Design and maintain ultra-high-scale data platforms processing petabytes of data.
• Review products, define new features, improve stability and performance.
• Optimize latency of high-performance services and data pipelines.
• Explore new query methods for internal and external users to access data.
