Job summary

New Wave Design in Minnesota is seeking a senior IT architect to lead strategic planning, architecture, and security across the information technology, cloud, and emerging tech landscape to align with business objectives.

You will partner with executives, drive AI, automation, and secure cloud modernization using AWS and GovCloud, while ensuring compliance with CMMC 2, NIST 800-171, ITAR, DFARS, FedRAMP, and CUI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity, or engineering.
• 7+ years in IT, cloud, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Experience with enterprise cloud, AWS, and GovCloud.
• Knowledge of CMMC 2, NIST SP 800-171, ITAR, DFARS, FedRAMP, and CUI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies, roadmaps, and architecture standards.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
• Establish cloud governance, security, cost-management, and auto­mation practices.
• Lead AI, automation, and emerging technology adoption to improve business performance.
• Manage IT operations, security, and vendor relationships.
