Job summary

OEC is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve a cloud platform that empowers engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable software. The role blends cloud infrastructure, DevOps, automation, and AI-enabled development practices to shape how AI-powered development is adopted across the org.

You will collaborate with software engineers, architects, and DevOps to boost developer productivity, platform reliability, and tooling capabilities for safe AI agent adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of software, platform, DevOps, or cloud engineering experience.
• Proficient with one or more major cloud providers (AWS preferred).
• Experience building IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting or programming in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Hands-on CI/CD with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.
• Strong networking, cloud security, Linux, and platform operations knowledge.
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud platform infrastructure.
• Develop IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Manage AWS/Azure/Google Cloud environments for performance and cost.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery.
• Collaborate with software teams to improve platform capabilities.
• Monitor platform health and drive operational improvements.
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate infrastructure development while ensuring quality.
• Support platform capabilities enabling safe AI agent adoption, including access governance.
• Extend observability and auditing for AI-driven workflows.
