Job summary

Vanguard in Malvern, PA seeks an experienced Cloud/AI engineer to design and deliver AWS-based, scalable solutions. You will build reusable platform services, automate with IaC, and advance Agentic AI using Bedrock and LLMs. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive high-value cloud use cases.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years designing and developing AWS-based solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, automation, CI/CD, containers, and DevOps.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience building Generative AI apps using AWS Bedrock, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG.
• Experience integrating cloud/AI with enterprise apps, APIs, and data platforms.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum/SAFe) delivery.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and supports AWS-based cloud solutions with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Builds reusable platform services, APIs, and cloud-native components.
• Implements Agentic AI using AWS Bedrock, LLMs, and RAG frameworks.
• Integrates AI and cloud capabilities with enterprise platforms and data systems.
• Partners with product and engineering teams to deliver high-value cloud/AI use cases.
• Ensures security, governance, reliability, and performance standards.
• Participates in Agile ceremonies and continuous delivery practices.
• Monitors apps, resolves production issues, and documents engineering standards.
