Job summary

Vanguard in Malvern, PA is seeking a senior Cloud-Native and AI-driven solutions engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise cloud solutions on AWS. You will build platform services, automate infrastructure, and ensure security and performance.

The role focuses on Agentic AI using AWS Bedrock, LLMs, RAG, and integration with enterprise apps, APIs, and data platforms. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of experience designing and developing solutions on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience building Generative AI applications using AWS Bedrock, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
• Experience integrating cloud and AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms.
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Ensures solutions meet security, governance, compliance, reliability, and performance standards.
• Participates in agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and continuous delivery practices.
• Monitors applications and platforms, resolves production issues, and implements continuous improvements.
• Maintains technical documentation and contributes to engineering standards and best practices.

Leverages deep expertise in AWS platform engineering, automation, and modern AI frameworks to deliver innovative products and services that enhance business outcomes and user experiences.

• Experience with vector databases, knowledge retrieval systems, and advanced RAG implementations.

• Experience leveraging AWS Bedrock-hosted foundation models and AI-assisted development tools.

• Exposure to marketing technology platforms, customer engagement solutions, or digital experience ecosystems.
