Wallick Communities seeks a Senior Closing Manager to lead affordable and senior housing closings with the Development team in New Albany, OH. This full-time role emphasizes due diligence, entity formation, and purchase agreement drafting.

You will coordinate loan applications (LIHTC, HUD, USDA), review titles, and manage complex multi-project closings, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. Join a 100%-employee-owned organization committed to residents and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in real estate closing.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Experience closing Low Income Housing Tax Credit transactions with HUD/USDA loans.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and track affordable and senior housing closings with Development team.
• Oversee the due diligence process prior to closing with high quality standards.
• Form and maintain business entities; draft and finalize organizational documents and purchase agreements.
• Assist in preparing LIHTC, HUD insured loan, and USDA loan applications.
• Order and review title and survey.
• Manage the due diligence process with lenders and equity providers from inception to closing.
• Provide training and mentorship of Closing Manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

The Senior Closing Manager work with Development team members to lead and track affordable and senior housing real estate closings. With additional responsibility in acquisition due diligence process.

Functions And Responsibilities

• Responsible for the due diligence process leading up to and including closing while maintaining high standards of quality and extreme attention to detail
• Form and maintain business entities
• Draft and finalize organizational documents and purchase agreements
• Assist in preparation of various types of applications including but not limited to Low Income Housing Tax Credit applications, HUD insured loan applications, and USDA loan applications
• Order and review title and survey
• Manage the due diligence process with lenders and equity providers from inception to closing
• Provide training and mentorship of Closing Manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications Required

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate or related field, preferred
• Minimum 7 years of previous experience in real estate closing.
• Requires a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Experience closing Low Income Housing Tax Credit transactions with various sources of financing including but not limited to HUD insured loans and USDA loans
• Experience preparing various types of loan applications
• Ability to manage multiple projects

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Notary Public, required upon hire.
