Job summary

The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie seeks a Senior Clinician to oversee clinical services for unaccompanied children in care, guiding clinicians and ensuring timely assessments and notes under ORR requirements.

This role supports quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and trauma-informed practice using Sanctuary Model principles; lead with policies, case management oversight, and coordination with the Lead Clinician in a busy UC program.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral science field with clinical training.
• Minimum of two years of post-graduate direct service delivery.
• Current clinical license or be license-eligible in NY.
• New York State Driver’s License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage to ensure continuity of services.
• Oversee Clinical Case Aide tasks and supervision.
• Review assessments and documentation for accuracy before submission.
• Ensure ORR and regulatory compliance in care.
• Support quality improvement and policy implementation.
