The ideal candidate has 5+ years in contract negotiations within clinical trials, with leadership experience and a track record of process improvement.

Qualifications

• 5 years with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role - Clinical trial contract negotiation or research administration
• Experience negotiating complex and high-value clinical trial agreements
• Experience leading or mentoring a team of contract analysts
• Experience engaging with senior leadership, sponsors, and CROs on strategic contract initiatives
• Demonstrated track record of process improvement, policy development, or template refinement

Responsibilities

• Complex Contract Leadership: Leads negotiations for complex, high-value, or novel agreements (e.g., first-in-human, global multi-arm). Ensures institutional risk is minimized while supporting research growth.
• Subject Matter Expertise & Escalation: Provides expert advice on advanced contract strategy and risk mitigation. Serves as point of resolution for escalated or sensitive issues.
• Sponsor & Vendor Relations: Builds and maintains strategic relationships with major sponsors, CROs, and vendors. Improves contract turnaround times and enhances institutional reputation.
• Team Mentorship & Oversight: Trains and mentor’s junior and mid-level analysts on advanced negotiation practices. Provides quality oversight to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Policy & Process Improvement: Partners with leadership to refine templates and institutional policies. Leads initiatives to streamline processes and align organizational goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
