HonorHealth is seeking a Clinical Trial Contract Analyst III in Phoenix, AZ. This senior role leads complex negotiations, mitigates institutional risk, and supports research growth.

You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with finance, compliance, and legal to refine templates and workflows. The position requires 5 years in contract negotiation or research administration, with at least 2 years in a senior role; experience with sponsors, CROs, and policy development is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role - Clinical trial contract negotiation or research administration.
• Demonstrated expertise in negotiating complex and high-value clinical trial agreements.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team of contract analysts.
• Experience engaging with senior institutional leadership, sponsors, and CROs on strategic contract initiatives.
• Demonstrated track record of process improvement, policy development, or template refinement.

Responsibilities

• Leads negotiations for complex, high-value, or novel agreements and minimizes institutional risk while supporting research growth.
• Provides expert advice on advanced contract strategy and risk mitigation; serves as escalation point.
• Builds and maintains strategic relationships with major sponsors, CROs, and vendors; improves turnaround times.
• Trains and mentors junior analysts on advanced negotiation practices; provides quality oversight.
• Partners with leadership to refine templates and institutional policies; leads process-improvement initiatives.
