Job Overview

The Senior Clinical Staff Educator develops, implements, and provides staff education and competency development related to assigned projects. The focus includes onboarding clinical field nurses, including new graduates. Acts as an educator to enhance the capabilities of licensed and non-licensed personnel and volunteers through orientation, continuing education, and in-service programs.

Location and Hours

Location: Lowell, MA

Hours: Part-Time, 24 hours/week - Days (Varied days)

Required Education and Experience

• RN with 1-2 years of home care experience
• 1-2 years' experience in staff education, teaching, or training across multidisciplinary clinical domains (preferred)
• Prior management experience (desired)
• BSN required
• Licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire
• Experience with EPIC (preferred)
• EPIC Dorothy and Comfort credentialing (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Excellent communication skills across all staff levels
• Self-directed, creative, with initiative to develop educational programs
• Fluent in English reading/writing/communication
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Organizational, time management, problem-solving, and prioritization skills

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess staff education needs via audits, record reviews, patient surveys, incident reports, and external audits
• Provide or coordinate in-service programs to meet identified needs
• Ensure proper documentation of educational activities
• Incorporate adult learning principles into training sessions
• Oversee educational processes for regulatory compliance (CMS, DPH)
• Identify additional training needs and collaborate with management
• Develop programs addressing staff and agency-wide needs
