Job summary
Teva Pharmaceuticals USA is seeking an Associate Director for Clinical Sciences Business Partnering & Category Strategy. This role develops category plans, leads sourcing for central labs, biomarker labs, and biorepository services, and partners with Clinical Development to align scientific and commercial needs.
The candidate combines clinical laboratory knowledge with strong stakeholder engagement and analytical skills to optimize value across pathways, ensuring data integrity and regulatory
Qualifications
- 7+ years in procurement or related disciplines in life sciences.
- Experience with clinical laboratory, biomarker, Translational & Precision Medicine services.
- Knowledge of drug development and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage cross-functional sourcing projects and influence stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Clinical Development and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Develop category strategies and sourcing roadmaps for labs and biorepository services.
- Provide category and supplier insights to support decisions.
- Lead or support RFx activities, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contracting.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Quality, Regulatory on commercial approaches.
- Balance cost, quality, speed, data integrity, compliance in sourcing decisions.
