Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Associate Director of Procurement in Clinical Development to advance category excellence across Regulatory and Patient Safety. Based in Tampa, FL, this role will operationalize transformation agendas, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure compliance through analytics and governance.

The position requires a strong business acumen, a track record in strategic sourcing, and the ability to influence across functions to optimize enterprise procurement

Qualifications

• Minimum education of a B.S./B.A. is required; M.S./M.B.A. is preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in biopharmaceuticals, life sciences, or related industry with at least five (5) years of experience in a strategic procurement, category management or a comparable function is required.
• Demonstrated experience leading sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for procurement activities across assigned categories with supplier assessments and proposals.
• Lead sourcing events to deliver integrated sourcing strategies.
• Implement data-driven category strategies that deliver measurable value and productivity gains.
• Prepare and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.
• Drive value-creation targets with business stakeholders and ensure regular performance reviews.
