PeaceHealth in Eugene, Oregon seeks a Senior Clinical Risk Manager to lead investigations and risk mitigation across the system. You will guide RCAs and FMEAs, advise executives, and develop system-wide risk policies with education efforts.

This role also mentors others and drives proactive safety culture while ensuring regulatory adherence. The position requires a nursing-related degree, at least 5 years in healthcare risk management, and certification readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related clinical field is required.
• Master's Degree preferred in nursing, healthcare administration, public health or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in healthcare risk management, compliance, quality improvement, or patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation of high-severity risk events and coordinate with legal and leadership.
• Oversee RCAs, FMEAs, and other risk assessments; lead proactive risk reviews.
• Advise senior leaders on risk mitigation and patient safety initiatives.
• Develop system-wide risk management policies and provide education and mentorship.
• Monitor incident trends and report KPIs with recommendations.
• Represent Risk Management on committees and lead regulatory responses.
