Job summary

Capital Health in New Jersey seeks a Nurse Research Leader to advance clinical research and evidence-based practice within the nursing division. You will mentor staff, coordinate education on research activities, and support dissemination of findings.

Responsibilities include IRB support, protocol prep, and mentoring doctoral students. Requires a Master’s in Nursing with 5+ years acute care and 2+ years research experience.

Qualifications

• Masters degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Five years of acute care experience and two years of research experience; CITI training.
• Excellent mentoring, public speaking, and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes clinical staff development and mentors in evidence-based practice.
• Coordinates system-wide education on research activities within CH.
• Assists in preparing abstracts and manuscripts and disseminates findings.
• Chairs or participates in governance and research committees as required.
• Supports IRB activities and mentors in publishing research outcomes.
• Analyzes data and mentors staff in statistical analyses.
