Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate and oversee clinical research operations for assigned trials in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The role reports to the principal investigator and focuses on compliant patient care and study integrity. The ideal candidate holds a BSN with at least 3 years nursing experience or 1 year nursing plus 2 years research experience, strong communication, sharp attention to detail, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience or 1 year of clinical nursing experience with an additional 2 years of clinical research experience.
• Adheres to the American Nurses Association standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work independently, or in a team, and handle multiple deadline driven tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
• Review and comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee clinical research operations for all assigned clinical trials.
• Participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating compliant patient care in clinical research trials.
• Work under the general supervision of the principal investigator responsible for the trials.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
