Job summary

Merck, a global healthcare leader, seeks a Protocol CSPM to design and oversee end-to-end clinical supplies for assigned studies. You will coordinate with clinical development, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure timely sourcing, manufacturing, labeling, and distribution of products to trial sites worldwide.

The role requires strong project management, GMP/GCP knowledge, and expertise in ERP systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and Veeva. Hybrid work arrangement in the U.S. is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• 5+ years in planning, scheduling, and processing supply chain activities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Excel/PowerPoint/Word.

Responsibilities

• Participates as a key stakeholder on Clinical Trial Teams and collaborates to set timelines and strategy for clinical supplies.
• Interacts with clinical development, regulatory, quality and supply chain to address topics.
• Establishes timelines for study product needs and provides signals for sourcing, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution.
• Analyzes risks related to clinical supply chain and develops mitigation strategies.
• Uses SAP/Oracle, Veeva, PowerApps, and MS tools to manage clinical supplies.
• Authoring documentation for labeling, packaging, and CMC activities.
