Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school required or above.
• Maintains current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification – and maintains current CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA certification.
• Two (2) years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Supervisor has operational and clinical supervisory responsibility and oversees the daily operations of the clinical staff within the department.
• Participates in hiring, supervision, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions of assigned team members.
• Acts as a resource for the service line AVP, Director of Operations, and/or Operations Manager.
• Collaborates with the service line Clinical Operations Manager or Director of Nursing to ensure clinical quality and standardization.
• Manages operations to provide physician clients with the most efficient and cost-effective clinical operation.
• Schedules staffing to meet changing workload needs.
• Identifies training needs for team members and facilitates development opportunities.
• Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with standards, laws, regulations, and procedures.
