Inovalon is seeking a Clinical Informatics & Ontology Lead to guide enterprise terminology strategy, governance, and data normalization across real-world data products. You will own ontology assets, reference data, and value sets while coordinating with engineering and product teams to ensure high-fidelity data.

This role emphasizes governance, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm and value sets.
• Ability to design and govern terminology workflows and mappings.
• Strong documentation and decision-traceability practices.

Aufgaben

• Lead strategy, governance, and maintenance of clinical ontologies and terminology assets.
• Own normalization services and translate requirements into terminology configurations.
• Lead clinical normalization for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, and Clinical teams to ensure fidelity.
• Define data quality rules and semantic validation checks with cross-team partners.
• Guide migration of legacy reference tables to scalable terminology platforms.
• Assess new data assets for clinical depth and semantic fit.
