Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Indiana seeks an experienced laboratory professional to guide DL Hematology, Histocompatibility, and Immunohematology labs. You will lead quality initiatives, supervise complex testing, and provide expert consultation to clinical teams.

The role requires 4–6 years of post-degree experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and a track record of process improvement. On-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading technical teams and counseling clinical staff.
• Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, AABB, FDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality and project initiatives across DL Hematology, Histocompatibility, and Immunohematology labs.
• Provide technical guidance and client consultation for complex cases.
• Oversee troubleshooting of testing systems, review of results, and on-call supervision.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and QA/QMS in daily operations.
• Mentor staff and external educational guests; develop training materials.
