Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a Laboratory Technologist to perform diverse clinical laboratory tests across microbiology, hematology, chemistry, serology, molecular, and urinalysis. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• ASCP certification preferred; eligibility on hire.
• 5 years experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests across multiple disciplines to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate laboratory instruments and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Utilize LIS and EHR systems to order tests, process specimens, and report results.
• Process and package patient specimens for shipping and manage QC/QA data.
• Maintain supply levels and support proficiency testing and accreditation activities.
