Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required; military equivalent may be substituted.
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License is required.

Responsibilities

• Verify specimens and tests to ensure patient accuracy and proper procedures.
• Analyze clinical samples following approved methods and perform quality control procedures.
• Validate results using reference ranges and correlate with parameters before releasing results.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab instruments and document findings.
• Report results per SOP and train Lab Assistants and other staff as needed.
• Maintain compliance with corporate policies and state/federal regulations.
