Job summary

Norman Regional Health System’s Laboratory is a fast-paced, high-volume environment seeking a driven Medical Technologist to maintain instrumentation, QC, and calibration while ensuring timely test results for patient care.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with MT certification (ASCP or equivalent), ASCP registration or eligible status, and 2–4 years of laboratory experience depending on MT/HTL/MLT level. Night shift differential applies; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and MT certification with ASCP or equivalent.
• Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988.
• Registered with ASCP (or eligible for registry) as a Medical Technologist or equivalent.
• Four (4) years of laboratory experience as an MLT/HT (internal CLS2); OR Two (2) years of laboratory experience as a MT/HTL (internal CLS3)
• (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

• Maintains instrumentation and work area.
• Maintains quality control and calibration functions.
• Provides training and assesses competencies.
• Consistently completes testing within established time frames.
• Recognize and address issues within the department.
