Job summary

Norman Regional Laboratory is seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist to join our team. This role focuses on maintaining instrumentation, performing quality control, and completing tests within established time frames.

The incumbent will train and assess competencies, ensure compliance with CLIA and ASCP standards, and contribute to departmental reliability. Night shifts are available with differential, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree and MT certification with ASCP or equivalent; must meet Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains instrumentation and work area.
• Maintains quality control and calibration functions.
• Provides training and assesses competencies.
• Consistently completes testing within established time frames.
• Recognize and address issues within the department.
