Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Medical Technologist/MLS for our busy laboratory. The role emphasizes maintaining instrumentation, performing tests, and ensuring quality control in a high-volume setting with opportunities for advancement.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree with MT certification (ASCP) and meet state licensure requirements. Four years of lab experience (or two years MT/HTL with internal CLS3) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and MT certification with ASCP (or equivalent).
• Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988.

Responsabilités

• Maintains instrumentation and work area.
• Maintains quality control and calibration functions.
• Provides training and assesses competencies.
• Completes testing within established time frames.
• Recognizes and addresses issues within the department.
