Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Irving, TX seeks a Senior Clinical Informatics Systems Analyst to support and advance clinical information systems across a large multi-regional system. You will collaborate with clinical and IT teams to optimize workflows, ensure patient safety, and implement new releases and enhancements to EMR and related applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of clinical/technical application experience in lieu of degree.
• Preferred 5-7 years previous clinical information systems experience or equivalent.
• Preferred 2+ years project management experience or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Epic certification/accreditation/self-proficiency in relevant applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clinical Informatics to drive goals and vision across CHRISTUS Health.
• Focus on standardized best practice workflow processes and clinical content across ministries.
• Identify infrastructure issues related to clinical application issues with technical colleagues.
• Develop, test, implement, support, and maintain assigned clinical applications and processes.
• Provide strong communication and interpersonal interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Assist with communicating changes, upgrades, and downtime procedures related to the EMR.
• Foster relationships with ministry leadership to meet business and financial requirements.
• Lead testing initiatives and guide quality assurance activities.
