Job summary

CVS Health in the United States seeks a senior Manager of Enterprise Clinical EHR Policy Development & AI/ Epic Technology Assessment to lead policy development for enterprise clinical workflows, govern EHR configurations, and align operations with approved enterprise requirements.

You will drive AI-enabled Epic technology assessments, establish evaluation frameworks, coordinate with clinical, quality, security, and governance teams, and support change management to embed policies across care

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of related clinical informatics, enterprise policy, Quality & Safety, patient safety, or healthcare technology assessment experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the development, maintenance, governance, and implementation of enterprise clinical workflow policies and standards across care settings.
• Translate clinical, operational, and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable EHR-enabled policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across care settings during policy development and maintenance.
• Partner with clinical, operational, informatics, and Epic stakeholders to support workflow standardization and ensure policies reflect approved workflows and patient safety requirements.
• Assess impact of proposed workflow changes and recommend updates.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment to ensure enterprise policies reflect approved workflows across care settings.
• Provide policy expertise during workflow redesign, implementation, and adoption activities.
• Monitor and evaluate implemented workflow changes for continued adherence to policy requirements.
• Lead enterprise-wide clinical assessment of AI-enabled Epic capabilities and tools (e.g., ambient documentation tools such as Abridge).
• Define evaluation frameworks addressing patient impact, safety, quality, user experience, privacy, and regulatory alignment.
• Evaluate business value, ROI, productivity, and measurable outcomes.
• Establish ongoing monitoring, feedback, and escalation processes.
