Job summary

Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH is seeking a Clinical Sr. Housekeeper to lead housekeeping across patient care areas. This full-time, day-shift role is 40 hours per week and offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

You will respond to calls, assign staff as needed, document requests, monitor bed tracking, and ensure safe cleaning with PPE and log maintenance. The position emphasizes teamwork and reliable service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in housekeeping or similar role.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carries beeper and IP phone, takes calls/requests, and assigns staff as required.
• Documents all requests in log.
• Delivers pager and reports to next shift.
• Monitors bed tracking system.
• Cleans all areas with vacuuming, dry mopping and damp mopping.
• Follows PPE guidelines and reports issues to manager.
• Handles waste per protocol and uses LOTO procedures.
• Delivers and rotates linens as assigned.
• Maintains supplies on carts and in closets.
