Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in a hospital environment.
• Ability to respond to calls for service and direct staff as needed.
• Strong communication to relay department status to oncoming shift.

Responsibilities

• Carry beeper and IP phone to take calls, assign staff, and deliver pager report to next shift.
• Monitor bed tracking system.
• Clean all assigned areas using proper PPE and cleaning methods.
• Report aesthetic issues and repair needs to manager; tag defective equipment per protocol.
• Handle waste removal including biohazard/infectious waste and sharps following protocol.
• Provide job training for new hires.
• Manage linens delivery and removal per established protocols.
• Maintain supplies on carts/closets and ensure orderly conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
