Qualifications

• MD, DO, MD/PhD, or DO/PhD required
• Minimum 5 years of clinical and/or development experience (academia, clinical medicine, and/or corporate clinical development)
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in drug development or biomedical research in academia
• Demonstrated record of scientific scholarship and achievement
• Prior experience in design and execution of phase 2 or 3 clinical trials in rheumatologic diseases preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Evaluating pre-clinical and translational work to generate early clinical development plans and INDs.
• Providing clinical development support for external opportunities to grow the Immunology pipeline.
• Developing clinical development strategies and planning trials (design, operational plans, settings).
• Monitoring and managing ongoing or new clinical trials for investigational drugs.
• Analyzing and summarizing clinical findings to support safety/efficacy decisions and regulatory filings.
• Participating in internal and joint internal/external research project teams.
