Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a physician leader to oversee clinical development programs within a global framework. The role focuses on planning, execution, and interpretation of multiple trials, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance across teams.

The successful candidate will coordinate with Medical Affairs, Discovery, and Commercial groups, contribute to strategic plans, and lead scientific discussions to advance product development in oncology, immunology, or neuroscience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical trial experience in pharma, academia, or equivalent.
• Ability to run a clinical research program of moderate complexity with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders to support global strategy.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees design and implementation of one or more clinical development programs.
• Ensures study integrity, safety, and efficacy data with timelines.
• Oversees reporting of protocols, regulatory submissions, and study reports.
• Coordinates translational strategies and cross-functional clinical activities.
• Participates in CST/Asset Development Team activities as needed.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practices.
