Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Manager to lead Data Management on studies, directing documentation, system setup, data entry and validation for junior staff. You will partner with Sponsors, oversee DM activities from start-up to database lock, and mentor the DM team to ensure quality and timeliness.

The role requires 8+ years DM experience, strong supervisory and client-management skills, and governance of budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Requires 8+ years in data management (DM) with sponsor management and mentoring experience.
• Must have full service/CRO DM experience and knowledge of DM processes.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and client-facing communication skills.
• English proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading.

Responsibilities

• Lead DM studies from start-up to database lock with client quality expectations.
• Provide SME guidance and mentoring to DM staff and project teams.
• Ensure adherence to protocols, SOPs, and GCP standards across projects.
• Coordinate timelines and resource allocations with project managers and leads.
• Maintain records and drive process improvements in the DM function.
