Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Data Management leader to guide studies from start-up through database lock. You will develop project documentation, set up systems, and validate data while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with EDC/PK teams to meet sponsor requirements and timelines.

The role requires deep DM expertise, strong communication, and the ability to manage scope, budgets, and risk across multicenter trials. Remote-friendly with office/home-based flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience leading Data Management (DM) on clinical studies.
• Proactive, independent worker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor DM staff and manage timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead DM activities from study start-up to database lock.
• Develop and maintain DM documentation and data validation procedures.
• Coordinate with EDC, SAS Programming, Statistics and PK leads.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching within the DM team.
