Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Senior Clinical Data Manager to lead data management for complex studies from start-up through database lock. You will act as a SME in DM activities, manage sponsor relationships, and drive timelines, budgets, and data quality.

Mentoring junior DM staff and aligning with SOPs and GCPs are essential parts of the role. You will collaborate with EDC design, SAS programming, statistics, and PK teams to ensure successful delivery, risk mitigation, and timely database lock under

Qualifications

8 years of combined early or late-stage DM experience
2+ years of direct sponsor management experience
Experience with Scope of Work and budgets
Thorough knowledge of clinical trial process, DM, Biostatistics
Experience representing DM in bid defense meetings
Experience mentoring junior members and leading teams

Responsibilities

Lead studies including healthy volunteers and patients across multi-site studies
Ensure DM deliverables meet timelines and budgets
Ensure SOPs and GCP standards are followed
Coordinate with project leads to build timelines and manage resources
Provide leadership, mentorship, and training within the DM team
Attend client or internal audits and address findings
Develop training and process improvements across Biometrics
