Job summary

Parabilis Medicines in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Scientist, Clinical Biomarkers to advance biomarker strategies across pre-IND to Phase 1/2 oncology trials. You will translate preclinical findings into clinically feasible assays and drive data-informed decisions with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• PhD in Cancer Biology, Immunology, or related field.
• 5+ years total experience with at least 2+ years in industry biomarker research across pre-IND to Phase 1/2.
• Experience in preclinical oncology translational research.
• Knowledge of fit-for-purpose assay technologies for clinical studies.
• Experience with spatial omics, multiplex immunoassays, NGS, IHC, flow cytometry, ctDNA.
• Strong communication and collaboration across functions.
• Publication record in oncology/translational research.
• Experience using AI tools; basic proficiency expected.

Responsibilities

• Capture biomarkers identified in preclinical studies for clinical translation from pre-IND through Phase 1/2 programs.
• Develop and qualify fit-for-purpose clinical biomarker assays and vendors.
• Conduct hypothesis-driven analysis, interpretation, and presentation of clinical biomarker data.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Biology to support biomarker exploration and identification.
• Partner with Clinical Science, Clinical Operations, and Clinical Pharmacology to embed biomarker strategy into protocols.
• Monitor emerging biomarker literature and competitive landscape to guide strategy.
