Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to lead BI initiatives focused on data warehousing, data mining, and advanced visualization. You will implement BI solutions, perform timely analytics for business leaders, and guide projects through their lifecycle with technical leadership for junior staff.

Requirements include a 5-year background in data analytics and expertise with Epic Clarity/Caboodle, Tableau/Power BI certification, and strong SQL/analytics tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in data analytics, data science, data warehousing, metadata mgmt, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Epic Clarity and Caboodle data models, reporting tools, and clinical data preferred.
• Epic Inpatient applications experience preferred.
• Certified in Tableau or Power BI preferred.
• Proficiency with SAS, R, Python, Java, Spark, Hadoop, Alteryx; visualization tools Tableau/QlikView preferred.
• Epic Cogito Data Warehouse & Caboodle Data Model certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion and lead ongoing BI/Data Analytics initiatives aligned to organizational goals.
• Operationalize BI solutions and perform advanced analytics for business partners/leaders.
• Provide technical leadership to less experienced team members and lead medium-size projects through implementation lifecycle.
