Job summary

UT Health Science Center at San Antonio is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead program evaluation, reporting, and data-driven decision support across research initiatives. You will extract, manipulate, and analyze data from diverse sources, build dashboards in Tableau, and communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels, including training junior analysts and ensuring quality data audits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency manipulating and analyzing complex data from varying sources.
• Experience in empirical research and answering hard questions with data.
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative research analyses and statistical methods.
• Proficiency with SPSS and SAS; strong Tableau and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Extract, manipulate, analyze, and report data for internal and external constituencies.
• Partner with teams to develop evaluation metrics for ongoing programs and to support operational decisions.
• Use existing data repositories to answer research questions identified by stakeholders.
• Design or adapt questionnaires to create new program evaluation metrics that support operations.
• Create algorithms to merge data into new datasets; identify new data sources and improved methods.
• Apply statistical methods to assess the effectiveness of programmatic initiatives.
• Build PowerPoint presentations summarizing key findings and deliverables.
• Present key evaluation metrics to stakeholders and train newer analysts if needed.
• Develop management reports and ensure data quality through audits.
