Job summary

JSSA is seeking a Sr. Clinical Application Specialist in Rockville, MD to align IT services with business goals across clinical and administrative lines.

The role reports to IT leadership and acts as a strategic liaison, coordinating evaluation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of technology solutions supporting JSSA clients. The position emphasizes collaboration, leadership presence, and strong communication across non-technical stakeholders while overseeing full lifecycle project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare/clinical field, Informatics or IT.
• 3–5 years of clinical or frontline information system experience.
• Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Understanding of cybersecurity and systems integration principles.

Responsibilities

• Develops IT strategic plans and ensures IT service delivery aligns with business goals.
• Builds relationships with stakeholders and delivers timely IT solutions.
• Oversees projects with scope, cost, and schedule management.
• Serves as voice of IT to key decision makers.
• Collaborates on dashboards and reports for business lines.
