Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, science, or business field; five years experience in information applications.
• Five years progressively responsible experience in information applications, including one year programming or applications analysis.
• Experience in healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs and coordinates complex analysis, design, development, testing and support services for assigned applications.
• Oversees day-to-day tracking and follow-up on issues and questions of daily operations.
• Performs and coordinates application analysis and impact analysis of new or different applications, processes or changes.
• Provides complex application support and guidance to end users; serves as point of contact for complex problems.
• Coordinates development of testing scripts and conversion plans; participates in testing as assigned.
• Prepares written documentation: specifications, training manuals, status reports; teaches others.
• Leads projects, estimates costs and time frames, and uses status reports for oversight.
• Validates designs for each application; assists with departmental policies and procedures related to clinical applications.

Education

Bachelor's degree in health/science/business

Masters degree preferred

Additional Certifications may be required

Five years progressively responsible experience in information applications
