Summary of Job Duties: The Senior Application Systems Analyst supports IT EMR Services, primarily Epic ClinDoc and CPOE. Acts independently with minimal supervision, supporting system applications, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field plus 3 years of IT or clinical/operational experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 5 years, or Associate's plus 7 years, or High School diploma plus 9 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must obtain Epic ClinDoc and CPOE certification within 12 months if not already certified.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree preferred.
  • IT experience plus Clinical or Operational experience preferred.

Additional Information:

  • Proficiency in software functionality, system integration, testing, and documentation.
  • Analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to document and follow change control procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors and operations to ensure system integrity.
  • Experience in workflow analysis and process improvement.
  • Report preparation and mentoring junior analysts.
  • Maintain certifications and provide on-call support.
