Saint Mary’s Hospital, part of the Trinity Health system, is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (Senior Clinical Advisor) to support the Nurse Manager in administrative duties and guide the perioperative team. The Intermediate Care Unit is a 20-bed unit caring for high-acuity medical and surgical patients with cardiac monitoring and interventions.

You will supervise charge nurses and frontline staff, participate in hiring and performance management, and promote safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• RN license in Connecticut (CT).
• 2+ years in Intermediate Care/Step Down preferred.
• 1+ year of management or supervisory experience preferred (e.g., charge nurse).
• BLS/CPR certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

• Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing unit personnel and maintaining a safe, efficient nursing environment.
• Supervise charge nurses and frontline staff, coordinating staffing and throughput.
