Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Senior Climbing Arborist & Training Lead in Massachusetts to join the General Tree Care Team. You will lead climbing operations, develop crew members, and deliver high-quality pruning, removals, and cabling while ensuring safety and client satisfaction.

You will work with industry-leading equipment and receive extensive training opportunities, including leadership development and continuing education support, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Passion for outdoor work and environmental stewardship.
• Proficient pruning techniques for large trees and ornamentals.
• Strong knowledge of tree and shrub species; safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform pruning, removals, and cabling for trees and shrubs.
• Climb trees safely using proper techniques, ropes, saddle, and ladders.
• Operate chainsaws and aerial lifts efficiently and safely.
• Apply ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and ANSI Z safety guidelines.
• Assist in tree removals and perform safe takedowns.
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks before/during/after jobs.
• Maintain communication with team and clients, ensuring safety and service.
