Job summary

Pulsora is hiring a Climate Analyst to own carbon accounting methodology and the emission factor library for enterprise customers. The role partners with sustainability leaders to build GHG inventories, set targets, support disclosures, and translate regulatory changes into product requirements and calculation logic.

This hands-on position involves activity data work, emission factors, and detailed calculation logic, with collaboration across engineering, design, and client teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of climate consulting or sustainability analyst experience with significant carbon accounting.
• Deep understanding of the GHG Protocol, ISO 1406X family, and related frameworks/regulations (CSRD, CDP, SBTi, PCAF, GRI, SASB, TCFD, EU Taxonomy, SFDR).
• Hands-on experience building or auditing full Scope 1–3 inventories under the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and Scope 3 Standard.
• Fluency in emission factor sourcing and application, and managing GWP sets (IPCC AR4/AR5/AR6).
• Familiarity with assurance/audit practices (ISAE 3000/3410, AA1000AS) and data lineage controls.
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools to build prototypes and internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements on GHG inventory build, assurance, decarbonization planning, and reporting.
• Own emission factor library lifecycle: sourcing, versioning, provenance, retirement, and GWP set management.
• Shape platform capabilities for GHG accounting across Scopes 1–3 with audit-ready data lineage.
• Translate regulatory changes (CSRD, CDP, SBTi) into product requirements and calculation logic.
• Onboard, train, and support clients as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
• Rapidly prototype internal tools and customer-facing solutions using AI-assisted coding.
