Position Summary:

The Senior Client Services Specialist is a pivotal individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Client Services. This position requires an experienced digital marketing professional who excels at cross-functional collaboration across paid search, social media, SEO, and other marketing disciplines. The ideal candidate will serve as a positive influencer who builds strong relationships with clients and internal teams while delivering exceptional client service and strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Partnership & Advocacy:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and day-to-day contact for assigned high-value clients
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with client stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Translate client business objectives into actionable digital marketing strategies
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and campaign performance
  • Advocate for client needs while balancing agency capabilities and resources

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with paid search, social media, SEO, and creative teams to ensure integrated campaign execution
  • Facilitate effective communication between specialized teams to deliver cohesive client solutions
  • Act as a positive influencer who builds bridges across departments and motivates others through enthusiasm and expertise
  • Share knowledge and best practices across teams to elevate overall agency capabilities
  • Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings

Strategic Implementation:

  • Help implement client learning agendas established by the Head of Client Services
  • Conduct thorough audience research and data analysis to inform campaign strategies
  • Monitor campaign performance against KPIs and provide actionable insights
  • Identify optimization opportunities across multiple digital marketing channels
  • Apply A/B testing methodologies to continuously improve campaign results

Client Communication & Reporting:

  • Develop clear, compelling client presentations and reports
  • Lead client meetings and calls with confidence and expertise
  • Communicate complex digital marketing concepts in accessible language
  • Provide regular status updates and proactively address potential issues
  • Document client interactions and maintain comprehensive records in CRM
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends and technologies
  • Suggest process improvements and innovative approaches to client service
  • Share industry insights and best practices with clients and internal teams
  • Contribute to the development of agency service offerings and methodologies
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives and internal training programs

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing client services or account management
  • Demonstrated understanding of multiple digital marketing disciplines including paid search, paid social, SEO, and performance creative
  • Proven track record of building positive relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive collaborative outcomes
  • Experience with CRM systems (Hubspot preferred) and project management tools
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
