Job summary

Franklin Templeton in Pasadena, CA, is seeking a Sr. Client Service Associate to support external and internal relationships, delivering proactive analytical and organizational support to clients and Relationship Managers.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Investment Management and Operations to learn the business from the ground up. The role focuses on understanding client objectives, delivering customized solutions and timely portfolio reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of client service or marketing experience in investment management or similar industry.
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a collaborative, team environment.
• Client-focused mindset with strong critical thinking and prioritization under pressure.
• Interest in investments, finance and marketing with knowledge of equity and fixed income securities.
• Strong data analytics skills; proficient with Microsoft Office; CRM or industry databases is a plus.
• 4-year undergraduate degree required.
• CFA designation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with the assigned client channel and support the US based Client Service team.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients’ objectives to deliver customized solutions and reporting.
• Field complex ongoing and ad-hoc requests regarding portfolio, compliance, and fund information.
• Collaborate with Client Service-Business Development Managers and clients on Compliance Due Diligence meetings.
• Stay current on Franklin Templeton products, investment processes and market conditions to offer solutions.
• Represent client and Relationship Manager needs in firmwide initiatives.
• Be proactive in increasing the team’s efficiency and retaining/growing business.
