Senior Client Relationship Manager

Position Overview:

This role is critical for creating, executing, and sustaining a strategic sales plan aimed at boosting revenue from both existing and new accounts. This individual will oversee the complete sales lifecycle, enhancing ETS's market position by identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ solution-based selling techniques to identify and address client business challenges effectively.
  • Collaborate extensively with team members to craft compelling solutions that position ETS as the preferred partner for clients.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations both over the phone and in person.
  • Introduce innovative ideas to refine the agency's sales and marketing strategies.
  • Work alongside vertical business leaders and new business development teams to design tailored proposal solutions for prospective clients.
  • Proactively source and cultivate qualified sales leads within targeted agency categories through relationship-building and networking in the advertising and marketing sectors.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of ETS' prospects, including their business needs and competitors, and proactively share ideas and case studies during initial discussions.
  • Build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities, forecast revenue, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve annual targets.
  • Maintain and enhance the CRM database of prospects.
  • Manage and nurture inbound agency leads, guiding the client relationship from initial contact to closing while collaborating with internal teams to craft solutions.
  • Participate in follow-ups related to client contracts and billing as required.
  • Continuously seek out and engage new clients aligned with ETS' growth objectives while maintaining consistent communication.
  • Stay updated on trends in advertising, technology, and innovation within the industry.
  • Regularly update account contacts and proposal activities for communication with upper management through established reporting methods.
  • Proven ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills to generate interest and secure meetings with prospective clients via phone.
  • Participation in internal and external business development meetings and events, including industry conferences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or MBA with a minimum of seven years of relevant sales experience.
  • A creative and resourceful thinker with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and proofreading.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and strong customer service and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Valid driver’s license with a registered automobile and insurance; willingness to travel.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales role within the Staffing industry
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Background in the staffing or software industry.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales goals with an innovative mindset.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
