Job summary

DMA in Indianapolis seeks a Client Agreement Specialist to draft, revise, and coordinate client engagement agreements and related documents. You will translate business terms into precise contractual language, tailor documents to engagements, and ensure compliance with DMA standards while coordinating execution with Sales, Operations, and Legal teams.

As a key member of the Legal function, you will manage a high volume of requests, advise on risk, and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant commercial contracting experience.
• Five to ten years of experience drafting, reviewing, and administering commercial agreements.
• Significant experience preparing and negotiating business contracts in professional services, consulting, accounting, legal, or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and coordinate execution of client engagement agreements, amendments, change orders, non-disclosure agreements, and related commercial documents.
• Translate business terms and negotiated terms into accurate contractual language.
• Draft agreements using approved templates and tailor documents to client engagements.
• Review client-provided contract forms and prepare revisions/redlines and issue summaries for legal review.
• Ensure compliance with contracting standards, policies, and risk guidelines.
• Coordinate contract execution processes and maintain documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide practical contract-related support throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare summaries of contractual issues and negotiation considerations.
• Help identify non-standard terms requiring legal review or business approval.
• Maintain contract status tracking and updates on progression and execution.
• Organize and maintain executed agreement repositories and related documents.
• Assist with ongoing management of templates and clause libraries.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, standardization, and service levels.
• Support implementation of contract management tools and processes.
• Collaborate with Associate General Counsel and other Legal personnel on risk management matters.
• Prepare contract summaries and analysis for legal review.
• Escalate legal, regulatory, compliance, and risk-related issues as appropriate.
