You will oversee 1-3 bookkeepers, manage monthly close and financial reporting, drive process improvements, and ensure timely, accurate results for SMBs, tech, e-commerce, and real estate clients. This role blends client leadership with hands-on accounting and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience leading bookkeepers or staff accountants.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms.
• Background in public accounting, consulting, or professional services.
• Strong accrual accounting expertise; experience across SMB, tech, e-commerce, or real estate a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
• Deliver monthly financial reviews, close processes, and accurate financial reporting.
• Lead and review the work of 1-3 bookkeepers across AP/AR, reconciliations, and transaction processing.
• Manage month-end close, general ledger, and accrual-based accounting.
